Swimming

We have two 25 metre swimming pools, one at the Nene Centre in Thrapston and the other at Splash Leisure Pool in Rushden.  Splash Leisure Pool has a beach area with fun water features as well as a flume.  Both pools offer a great programme of water-based activities to suit everyone, making it a great place for the whole family.

We cater for all ages and abilities and have dedicated sessions including:

• Parents and Tots/Toddler Splash
• Adult Swim/Early Swim
• 50+
• Family Swim*
• Aqua Fit
• Aqua Zumba (Nene only)
• Snorkel and Fins (Nene only)
• Rushden Disabled Swim Club (Splash only)
• Swimming Clubs
• Sub-Aqua Club (including Sub-Aqua Club - at Nene only)
• Swim School lessons
• Swimfit (Nene only - but you can follow your own programme during any public session at either pool)

• Private Pool Hire

Some sessions coincide with our Crèche opening times (see table below) so why not leave your little one(s) to have some fun in a safe environment whilst having some 'you time'.

Private swimming lessons are also available - please enquire at Nene or Splash Reception for details. 

We also support national initiatives such as Swimfit, The Big Splash and Swimathon.

* Family Swim is a session designed for families in a fun, relaxed environment.  Parents must accompany children in the water.
